As Head of Growth, you have the most strategic role when it comes to Jumia online strategy. You will be in charge of overlooking the overall achievement of marketing targets in the country.


Reporting to the Chief marketing Officier, you will manage online Marketing  budget, execute marketing initiatives and monthly action plans


The role also entails working on planning of major events including Black Friday, the largest E-commerce event of the year in Africa every year, since Jumia introduced the concept in 2014.


 


Job responsibilities




  • Daily performance follow-up




  • Guide channels owners to execute on battles such as repurchase & retention, increase the App usage, optimise efficiency.




  • Together with commercial team, define and plan weekly sales campaign.




  • Anticipate and evaluate issues as they arise by working in close collaboration with all teams and deliver plans to counter in line with the business targets.




  • Work in synergy with the marketing and commercial team to identify new growth opportunities.




  • Coordinate department/vertical specific reporting that will feed the marketing efficiency plan.






  • Build post-mortem campaign efficiency with channels owners.




  • Follow up on marketing effectiveness and ROI.




 


Requirements :




  • Proven work experience in the Digital field




  • Experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies




  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus




  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills




  • Strong analytical skills




  • Ability to handle multiple projects.




  • Degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field
