Food Prep and Packing Team Member (Green Chef) FT/PT

Join our exciting and growing company! We are currently seeking full-time and part-time team members to assist in food preparation and packaging in our South Jersey area warehouse location. This candidate should posses a positive attitude and be passionate about organic foods with a desire to maintain gourmet quality standards. This position involves food prep and the packing of recipe kit orders.

Essential Functions:

    • Cold food prep (chopping, slicing, mincing of fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs)

    • Portion ingredients into individual food containers

    • Vacuum seal meat portions

    • Delicately pack weekly recipe ingredients into a standard shipping boxes

    • Stickering, constructing, and organizing packaging materials

    • Cleaning, and general warehouse maintenance  

    • Promptly communicate all safety related issues and concerns

    • Any and all other functions as determined by management

Required Experience/Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Attention to detail and quality control

    • Able to work as part of a team and individually

Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to stand on your feet and work between 8-12 hours per shift.

    • Must be able to grasp objects and lift up to 50lbs.

    • Able to work in a cold kitchen area located in a walk-in refrigerator kept at 35 degrees.

Working Conditions:

    • Warehouse environment

    • Must be able to withstand temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit
