We are looking for our next Category Manager for Packaging!


Being part of the operations team, you would help identify risks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and develop proposals to improve weekly production and logistics performance. You can learn more about the company at www.hellofresh.ca.


 


What you will be doing 



  • Project management on a range of packaging projects.

  • Managing multiple packaging supplier relationships.

  • Understanding factors that would influence materials and packaging costs and using these to make great decisions for the business.

  • Researching new suppliers along the value chain and proposing business cases to improve cost, quality, and performance.

  • Analyzing the entire vendor-to-customer supply chain, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing plans for execution.

  • Collecting data along the supply chain and making related process improvement recommendations.

  • Managing a small team to help you execute your plans!


Who you are


You have....



  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics environment.

  • Good people management skills with an ability to bring the best out of people.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Business or Mathematics.

  • Strong interest in operations and supply chain.

  • Quantitative and analytical skills a must – must have strong capability using MS Excel.

  • Must be proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work and should think beyond the scope of a given assignment

  • You should be entrepreneurial with a strong attitude towards getting things done.

  • Willing to travel within the GTA for work when required.
