DiscoEat is seeking an experienced and strategic Freelancer Sales Manager to join our Sales Team at our London location. This position is performance-based with an attractive commission scheme.

DiscoEat is a technology-based restaurant discovery platform where users can book tables for up to 50% discount. Headquartered in Berlin, our business is transforming the restaurant industry with the dynamic pricing strategy. For customers, we present a new way of discovering great restaurants at discounted prices up to 50% at every restaurant, every day. For restaurants, we help generate significantly higher revenues and profits by filling empty seats, mainly during off-peak hours.

Who we're looking for

A negotiator. An ambitious lead generator. Someone who is driven to go above and beyond for customers. As a Freelancer Sales Manager at DiscoEat, you will help your restaurant partners solve the problems of high fixed costs and empty seats. You will work to build customer relationships, provide superior customer service, close deals, and network to build a strong pipeline for future clientele. In our fast-paced, energetic start-up environment, the Freelancer Sales Manager has the opportunity to be involved in establishing sales strategies and best practice procedures. 

What you will do

  • Actively shape and grow our restaurant inventory and database to drive business in London

  • Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals in the assigned areas

  • Build and maintain a strong network in the dining industry

  • Build strong relationships with restaurant partners for long-term success

  • Stay up-to-date with the sales performance to identify areas for improvement

  • Work closely with the headquarter and our various teams to ensure incomparable service

What you'll need

  • Experience in Sales or Business Development is a must, with an existing network in the dining industry preferred.

  • A desire to work independently and have control over your professional growth.

  • Experience in the restaurant tech industry is a strong plus, but not required.

  • Start-up experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Professional and confident attitude, a result-oriented, open-minded way of thinking, and a proactive and energetic approach.

  • CRM Experience - Salesforce is a plus.

  • Fluency in English required.
