Head of Sales

As Head of Sales, you are responsible for the development and expansion of a high performance B2B Sales Team, with the aim of becoming market leaders through a successful market entry. As part of the executive management team, you'll strategically lead your sales team and ensure future success. You

  • are responsible for the complete global B2B sales pipeline of expertlead with current focus on the German market

  • set up a structure and corresponding processes in order to develop our major customers in the best possible way as key accounts

  • take the existing sales strategy to the next level with your team - while you test the suitability of different distribution channels of the market 

  • define KPIs that you regularly track with your team in order to measure and continuously improve the success of various sales strategies

  • are “hands-on”, which means next to the organisation of sales activities you also take care of strategic contact to certain clients and support your team on the sales-process - from the office or directly at the clients’ location

  • are interested in the success of every member of your department team and consider yourself a people developer

  • build your own sales team at expertlead and implement a structure with the aspiration to provide the best possible customer service in the market

  • You have 7+ years of B2B sales experience in the software / start-up industry

  • You want to experience a strategic career shift and build, over the next few years, your own profile as part of a fast-growing startup 

  • You have been leading sales-teams of at least 3+ people and enjoy team-building and -development

  • You have high interest in the Tech-Industry and/or technical knowledge

  • You are customer - and objective- oriented and got strong communication skills

  • You have experience with establishing sales structures and quantitatively measuring success 

  • You enjoy building interpersonal relationships

  • You are highly motivated to work in a dynamic and young team

  • You speak fluent English and German

  • Full ownership & responsibility from day one and a very steep learning curve
