Financial Analyst - Valuation & Corporate Finance (m/f/d)

As a Financial Analyst in Valuation & Corporate Finance, you will be part of our Finance department at Rocket Internet in our headquarters in Berlin. You will work in a dynamic and international team that offers great development opportunities within the network of Rocket Internet as well as within our network of companies. You will work interdisciplinary with colleagues from the investment and finance teams and with external service providers such as Banks, the fund’s administrator, AIFM, tax accountants, lawyers and auditors.
The following tasks will be part of your new role:
- Preparation of valuation models (discounted cash flow, option pricing, waterfall models etc.)
- Development and analysis of financial models for the portfolio companies (captables, pro rata rights, antidilution etc.) and the overall portfolio (investment allocation, return analysis etc.)
- Analysis of business plans and review of underlying assumptions
- Supporting Rocket C-Level management and our ventures in ad-hoc requests for valuation reports, business cases and other financial topics
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and being first contact person for investment managers, auditors
Your qualifications
- You have graduated with a university degree with high academic achievements, with a focus on finance, mathematics or any other relevant subject with a strong analytical focus
- You work highly detail-oriented and strive to ensure the highest level of data quality
- You communicate well with stakeholders internally and external service providers
- You possess solid Excel skills to perform data analysis
- You have excellent English skills
